Founded in 1977 by Joseph Bergfeld and Bill Manser, Pittsburgh Pipe started out with one location and just 3 employees.

Quickly becoming a part of the construction service industry, we began supplying underground utility contractors with the steel bore casing they needed to fulfill their jobs. Over the last 40 years, we have expanded to 3 locations, with a team of 70 professionals and an expanded pipe offering. Now our pipe is being used nationwide to create, repair and rebuild America’s infrastructure.
Our three central locations give us easy access to truck, rail and river transport, allowing us to fulfill our mission of delivering the right pipe to our customers, right on time. We are a nationwide manufacturer, fabricator and distributor of steel casing pipe.
