Pittsburgh Pipe manufactures metal weld bands to any custom specification or quantity. Also known as alignment bands or wedding bands, they enhance pipe alignment and connection during construction. We provide them in loose form or securely attach them with fillet welding, forming on an end of one side to facilitate field fit-up and welding to the other end of an adjacent pipe.
We excel in providing custom cutting lifting eye (also known as lift holes or picking eyes) into the steel “in the flat” before rolling pipe, as per your specified dimensions. It’s common to include two eyes per pipe for added convenience. We can also expertly fabricate lifting lugs when requested.

Permeation grout, also known as concrete grouting or chemical grouting, is a flowable mixture that hardens into a cemented mass. When channeled through a grout tube, it solidifies structures by filling cracks or voids in rock and soil. Our grout ports efficiently deliver permeation grout to its required destination.
This type of pipe is designed with a longitudinal split, accompanied by split flanges on both ends and pre-drilled flat bars on each horizontal side, ensuring easy and secure assembly when welding is not feasible. Pittsburgh Pipe offers split and flanged pipe in various sizes, ranging from 12 ¾-inch to 72-inch outside diameter, and with a wide selection of wall thicknesses.
